Manute Bol died. Like many bizarrely huge people he died young at 47. However, according to news articles he also apparently contracted a horrible skin disease while in Africa that rendered him virtually unable to speak or eat for like 11 days. I think that doing a lot for your homeland and being an ambassador for your people, you should get

Bol was awesome, and fun to watch. He is one of the few shot blockers who completely changed the game with his presence. He had a chance to block anything within 10' of the basket. The things he did for Africa were amazing.
