So my co-worker meant to say on the conference call with senior management, "it's a brand spanking new system" but he didn't. He said "it's a brand new spanking system".

I don't know, the old system worked best. While I understand there may be a need to revolutionize ass smacking, I feel that a firm smack to either cheek gets the message across, no matter the intention.
