OotP and Pre-Book 7 hype

OMG I got to watch it down here. I really liked it, and I think I agree with you on the whole movie > book thing. And I also agree with the whole prophecy thing. I remember in the book, didn't they mention something about the unimportance of it being broken... I don't remember. But anyway, it was good. I need to go over HBP before reading DH...

I'm so glad you didn't miss out on the fun, despite being away from SJ :) And yes, although the movie did cut out many parts from such a frustrating long book, they chose to exclude the sections that I didn't care too much about (or didn't like, to simply put it). Overall, I happy with the outcome. As you said, they didn't explain that Dumbledore was already aware of the prophecy :( Ah well.

I can't wait for DH! Are you planning on attending the midnight event at Borders again this year? I didn't reserve mine yet, but I wanted to know who was going first.

I'm hoping to go--I already reserved it, but when I brought it up the other day, my dad said no. I told him I went two years ago, but that was with my cousin. We'll see. If I go, it'll be to the one at McCarthy Ranch. You?

Most people I know are going to the McCarthy Ranch one, so I might reserve mine there. Still unsure though. If I'm able to find someone to kick it with me until midnight, then I will most likely attend. Hopefully, we'll be able to see each other there :)
