I spend a lot of time these days (in between my busy schedule) checking various feminist blogs. One of the regular blogs I go to is Holla Back New York City. This blog is a place for people (mostly women) to report their experiences with street harassment

As someone who takes a lot of public transit, I get hassled by guys all the time, so I will definitely read these links.

That is terrible. Public transit seems to be a den of rude masculine entitlement. Meaning that many men feel that while they are on public transport they have a right to the women they see there. I hope the links do help you out. I think the survey was pretty in depth and I hope to see the results when her book comes out.

And I'll say, I was reading those links and thinking that at least DC wasn't as bad as NYC, and then the very next day, for the first time ever, I saw a guy actually grab his dick through his pants on the bus and shake it at the two girls in the seat across the aisle from me (he was hassling them in a way which was so loud that he was basically harrassing the whole bus).
