Oooh, so tense and USTy. I suspect this world's Bruce has more in common with Clark's than he suspects, lol...

Mmm.. UST I couldn't resist it. I think that things aren't as different as Clark thinks. In my mind, my Batman is a bit sneaky and slightly ethically ambiguous. If he had always wanted to kiss Clark, but was unsure of the response or effect it might have on their friendship... then what better time than to try it out on a Clark that won't be staying? That sort makes Bruce sound like a jerk though...

Either way, I imagine that the feelings are mutual all around, but due to the usual fun fan fiction reasons everyone (gosh it is confusing with two Clarks and two Bruces) are to afraid to make a move.

. And Clark being moral and Batman being a workaholic and also snarky and sneaky (and probably knowing that Clark is not his Clark and maybe they're not together in the au either and he was just trying it out? But then Clark thinks of his scent as his Bruce, so could it actually also be the Bruce from Clark's universe also visiting the au?

In my mind, while I was writing this, I imagined that the whole JLA knows their Superman is missing and that the current one is from an alternate-verse. Hence Batman testing the waters...

However, is is written vaguely (meaning there is no plot lol..) to allow for some interpretation, so whatever makes you happiest works for me.

And yeah, my Bruce is sneaky... and my Clark doofy. Not sure it is spot-on to comics/DCAU characterization, but it was fun to write.

Also, that you loved this? Makes me ubber excited! Cause I did it all for you <3

Aww, poor Clark, wanting it so badly and being such a farmboy! Maybe Pa´s advice wasn´t meant for situations like these?
