My son just sang me a song to the tune of that olde Christmas song, Silent Night.

The lyrics are as follows:

"Silent fart,
Deadly fart,
All is calm,
But not for long."

At the end of this little ditty, he made a fart noise with his mouth.

I suppose this is what nine year olds do.

Nine year olds? Yeah. To an extent. But moreover, being a male. If you're lucky, it'll continue for the rest of his life. Some males never get over the comedy of bodily functions. Some. ;)

uh oh. my best guy friend being a perfect example of that...i'm fucking scared now.

Just be sure to teach him there's shit out there that's alot funnier. Such as... the misfortune of others. Like tourists, for example. ;) I laughed more a weekend or two ago than I had in months sitting at Big Beach just watching tourists get rolled by waves.
