I spent the last 2 nights watching a special on PBS covering the dust bowls of the 1930s and how bad things were in the great depression. By 1934 and 1935 many farmers from Texas to Alberta fled to California looking for work. Here in the States we call them the "Okies". Application still not going through
Anchorage School District filled out the paperwork, but not the survey. Turns out since I technically did not have a direct supervisor they choose not to fill in the paperwork detailing work ethic and working with children. Just I am re-hirable and worked on these dates etc ( Read more... ) -
