*listening*

One more person will hear him thanks to you.

Laureena.

P.S. I am reading about him right now - looking for clips of his songs.

yeah, I worked briefly (and indirectly) with the Alabama Blues Project, they're good people. Debbie Bond is the lady you might hear in the background of some of Willie King's songs. I worked at the campus radio station and got a ticket to one of their benefits- interviewed Willie Briefly and rather awkwardly, nothing much came of that, but I kept in touch with them and promoted their events. Did an interview with their grant writer (Debbie's husband and fellow musician with Willie) that went on the air a couple times.

His monologues are the best, really, worth buying any of his albums I'd say, not to mention the music!

I wish you still had a clip of that - it would be worth hearing.

I do have the Willie King interview still, it is just isn't very good quality OR really sharable...it is on a digital voice recorder still.

The interview with Rick (Debbie's partner and partner in the non-profit), I do have. Somewhere (probably in my station stuff folder).

So, that can be arranged.

The first stanza is my favorite. It's so true. The entire thing just flows so well...I'm definitely looking him up.
