Despite my announcement, last night I found another set of hormonal students using my classroom as some kind of point of romantic rendezvous. My only solace in this matter is assigning them punishments for their delinquency.

After all, having the owlery cleaned from top to bottom really benefits the animals, does it not?

I swear the students at this school have become progressively more stupid with very few exceptions. I assigned a very simple essay on astronomy to only receive the following result:

Did I not make it clear enough that this class was about astronomy. Honestly, how stupid can one be if they haven't even got any idea of what class they are in? More so, did they think I couldn't tell that the handwriting between the two sentences was clearly different? Nor could they even find the effort in themselves to cast a simple spell checking spell.

And I shall "pont" out that this was a clear result of too much pureblood inbreeding. I hope your "vortex of cosmic energy" is not too upset that I have said so.

Do you think if we watered it, it would grow any faster? I haven't much "experence" in "astrolgy" after all. In fact, I had never even heard about it prior to this essay. This student also cannot count as I asked for an essay of 1000 words. Perhaps Professor Trelawney would enjoy this essay more.

I am astonished by the stupidity that abounds at this school, and what has the head staff decided to do about this? Throw a ball!

Now all teachers shall be submitted to the obnoxious tittering of little girls everywhere as they pour over the latest fashion magazines. Boys shall proceed to make blatant idiots of themselves as they try to impress potential dates. Wonderful. I'm ecstatic. I'm so glad we put more stress on social events such as quidditch and balls as opposed to classrooms and teaching. After all, students are not here to learn at all.

And may I express further annoyance at a particular someone who exhibits bad taste by displaying oversized animated graphics in her entries that put one in danger of being thrown into an epileptic fit? At her age, I would think one would have grown out of the juvenile obsession for hearts, stars, and rainbows.
