Oh no! Poor kitty! I am keeping you both in my thoughts! :(
BTW, have they mentioned the surgery where they open his bladder and clean it out? That's what they had to do to Roy because he kept blocking the catheter too.
Plus, I get paid friday and will add a little more to the Al fund then!

I was going to ask the same thing - Bumpus had to have that type of surgery about 6 or 8 months after his perineal urethrostomy.

I'm so sorry bb, that's way too young :(
I think you've done the best you can for him and you always have, you do with all your pets, so let's just hope things get better for the little guy :(

This wasn't your fault, sweetie. You've gone above and beyond every step of the way. This is not you failing. Yes, he's young, but sometimes young animals get sick, just like sometimes kids get sick. It's awful and I'm so sorry and I know that may not help much, but this isn't any failure on your part. ♥ ♥ ♥

I was thinking...if you're not already a member of kittypix, it might be a good idea to join and share these posts about Al from the beginning and your need for money (with photos of the boy to make the post "legal" since it's a picture comm). People frequently post there requesting help. And since it's such a huge community--even huger after getting the LJ Spotlight two weeks ago--you can usually get whatever you need from the generous people there. I've seen them donate hundreds of dollars for posts with much less info than yours, so the fact that you've been willing to give out contact info to prove you're legit oughta make your post a shoe-in for triggering people's "honesty" spider-sense and making them want to help.
