I don't know what is with today, but it has been a weird day. I haven't really left the confines of my office, but things have just felt off. The South is in the middle of a record drought with the potential for Raleigh to run out of water by December, and for Atlanta's reserves to be shot around New Year's, since we're not getting any rain, ( Read more... )

Heh, I love End of the World movies! Men In Black is also good. Not the sequel, though. Day After Tomorrow is perfect, with floods and freezing in Mexico. Oh and the girl who gets the infection on her leg, which is fun because around Baltimore we're having an MRSA epidemic or scare or something. I also really, really like watching The Day After Tomorrow with the DVD commentary. It's much more entertaining than CNN's coverage of global warming or whatever.

Lately I've been having a Happy Extravaganza. Right now I'm watching Talespin, earlier the HBO specials of Robert Klein and Mountain Dew, Vegetable Pizza, and Italian Ice. Windows down and using my boyfriend's big ole butt for a pillow. Ahhhhh.
