Nothing profound or incredibly moving, but I have come to LOVE the author Laurie Notaro. She is hilarious! One of her books is fiction, the rest are tales from her own life and funny experiences. I have read three of her five books so far and I laughed my ass off at each one. Just entertaining stuff ( ... )

Oh, oh, and The Five People You Meet in Heaven, by Mitch Albom was excellent, I remember I read it a few years ago on Thanksgiving. I was working as a secretary and had to work the holiday, it was a reallllly slow day and I read it in one eight hour shift.

Also, the James Frey books (A Million Little Pieces and My Friend Leonard). I know there was a lot of stupid press surrounding him and whether his story was true or not, but who cares. I really enjoyed reading them both.

ONE WEEK! :X

Are we just doing evening, or do you want to maybe catch the Metro and maybe hang in the city a bit while I'm there during the day on Saturday?

Also, how is it weather-wise there?

Can we make it more like 3:30? I have a hair appointment in the morning, and I don't want to totally ditch mom, so I'm going to take her out to lunch. And then maybe after that?

Gah, can you tell I'm excited, haha.
