It's Monday morning, and I'm back at work. There is one very depressing aspect of my job. As previously mentioned (or maybe I haven't mentioned it), I work in the Geriatrics department, at the School of Medicine here. Two of my favorite movies! Did you catch the sandwich that Adam Sander's character made for himself late at night when Pas Vega's character berated him for paying her daughter, Cristina for collecting the sea glass? The recipe is on the DVD. It's, like, a thousand calories but it looks SO GOOD.
What? Wow. While gay/lesbian characters in The Great Gatsby sound wonderfully revolutionary, I guess it's not what Fitzgerald had in mind, right? I read the book in eleventh grade but that was a decade ago and I don't remember gay characters in it. Then again, I don't remember anything from eleventh grade. Hrm.

I'm not on call, but they just have my number and like to call me about things. I would ask, but this department is woefully under-funded. And I have a friend who works at AT&T, so the cost to access my email is really low.
