How was Pattern Recoginition?

I was just reading a little teaser interview with Gibson about Spook Country and I realized I hadn't read anything of his in a while. Tell me, must I run to Barnes and Noble now? Or should I wait and check it out from the library?

I was wondering about Pattern Recognition. I'm too cheap to buy hardbacks very often anymore, so Spook Country's going to wait for paperback release.

Pattern recognition was pretty good more for the characters and ideas than the actual plot. It was interesting enough that to make me want to read Spook Country too.
