The Word of the Day is:

Perennial: \puh-REN-ee-ul\ adj.- Recurring regularly; permanent.

Hi hi, this one was fun!

the garland-stringing, carol-humming harpy
WIN description!

practically oozing her detestably bright, though thankfully not perennial, chipperness over the rug.
Loved this too, you can practically feel Draco's disdain and annoyance with the way you chose your words.

And overall, this has a great homey, old married (loving!) couple (the glances and glaring :)) background atmosphere.

I like your idea of word of the day drabbles. It looks like a real challenge with some of the words. But it is great how you play with them. Why did you stop?

*hugs*

I really wanted to portray a Draco here that is clinging to the cozy home life that he'd want to share with Harry, but simultaneously having a hard time adjusting to it. They make a great old married couple ^ ^

I want to keep doing these, and I have some half done, but sometimes it just doesn't flow....I'm working on it! :)
