LOL, at 18 hun....I don't think there is much we can do on that. We can guide our children and let them know how we feel on things, but at that age (remember we were there once) they tend to do what they want.
well said. Sorry but thongs are sexy they arent worn for comfort they are worn to be sexy, at FOURTEEN they arent supposed to be sexy they are supposed to still be kids grrrr
Mmmmmmm .... dont flog me here, but being a parent of girls, I don't know what the big deal is? Its a different form of underwear. If no one is seeing it, and it's under the clothes, how is it dressing sexy? Personally I don't think it has the same conotation it did years ago, and you need to remind yourself, it' s not our day and age anymore. That adage was used on us by our parents, for something other than underwear.
Of my two girls I have one who wouldn't know what to do with an ordinary pair of underwear if I clubbed her with it. The other wouldn't wear a thong if I paid her. (In fact when I asked her about her opinion on this, she said nearly every girl in her school wears them, except her)
I think it's more important to teach your girls respect for themselves, and understanding their own sexuality than coming unglued over a piece of clothing.
If you have a 14 year old who is using it as a form of sexy clothing, then the problem isn't the underwear. JUST MY OPINION :)~
Not flogging you luv. This was just my opinion. As the above is yours. I personally wouldn't allow my daughter to wear them. Now if she were 18, I can't stop her.
