Thanks! I've been trying at poetry for awhile now and, according to one friend who's a poetry professor, may not be in touch with my feelings enough as far as just poetry goes. I'd never thought of that, but I do rather tend to hold back with words but not with pictures so figured why not both?

This is so intense and poignant. I am glad you are trying poetry. I havent been much of a poetry person either ... and trying something of it in some form this season. The drawing ... impactful. Well Done

Thank you so much! I'm taking a Coursera class on poetry right now and am just... wow there is so much I do not know. I almost broke down in frustrated tears at this metaphor assignment because, all of a sudden, I couldn't think of a single metaphor to save my life. So I'm hoping the combo of that class and Idol will help me out that way.
