Oh wow, I feel both elated and guilty. Elated because my prompt was fulfilled, but guilty because my prompts seems, uhh, odd? xDD By the way, there's a typo on Isabelle's name, but other than that, ACNL world would indeed end without that cute little secretary doggie. Thank you very much for writing! I really appreciate the effort you placed on all Christmas prompts, and while I didn't comment on the last one I gave (the Seiken Densetsu 3 one with Duran), I just wanna let you know I've read it and it's beautiful. TwT

The second one is just cute!

The third one really deserves a fanfic itself. It's rare to find time loop/Groundhog Day-esque fanfics, let alone a well-written one. It's amusing that it takes both Sephiroth and Cloud days to realize they're in a time loop, though it's a pity that Angeal is unaffected... It would be really amusing that Angeal is actually indeed affected, but trying to pretend nothing happened (or didn't even realize it himself due to the differences that Cloud and Sephiroth made). xD

LOL don't be guilty, yours was a tough prompt but an interesting one! I like to step out of the FF fandom every now and again too, even if it's to write terribly weird crack.

Although ouch, that wasn't a typo, just a plain old mistake! The correct spelling was right there in the prompt, too... how embarrassing! XD I've fixed it now. I haven't played Animal Crossing since Christmas, some of the details are slipping from my brain already.

Time loop fics ARE super rare, aren't they? This one isn't a great example of the sub-genre, but it was still super fun to write!

Pretty sure I ended up the first ficlet with an expression close to 0.0 on my face. No time away from office for the mayor and Isabella at the same time. Ever.

Do the clothes they get have functional pockets?

Also, groundhog day AUs give me all sorts of joy.

I'm surprised there aren't more groundhog day AUs, really. It's a tried and true trope.

Trope mileage in fandom may vary. Though materia gives such a reasonable explanation for anything that goes wonky. :)

You have no idea how much I cheered at seeing a groundhog day fic for Final Fantasy VII written by one of my all time favorite writers. THANK YOU. Commenter above was right, this deserves it's own full length fic, but it's also great as is. Poor Zack.

Thank tsanyue for that one! Yeah it definitely needed to be longer, but there's a limit to what I'm willing to tackle for giftfics.

The time-loop story was adorable. I like that Cloud wasn't stuck alone -- frankly, he has too much of that problem in general -- and that Sephiroth got a chance to see exactly what would happen if he shrugged and walked away. Zack's reaction to their incoherence and lack of explanation was good too. Thanks for this!

I love Cloud's fear of clothes shopping (because the last time had such terrible results), and the Groundhog Day loop was hilarious. I wish I could see some of the more outlandish bits of Sephiroth cutting loose. Given that he'd be alive again the next day, I could see him doing things like groping Cloud in public, setting fire to Genesis' favorite copy of Loveless, and pantsing Shinra Sr. The fact that is really is all Zack's fault is just the icing on the cake.
