I and all my FFVII tumblr friends have been massively fangirling like you have no idea man. I'm p sure 75% of my non-queued posts have been FFVII (other parts consisting of Steven Universe and a couple social justice thingys ehehe) Best day early birthday present I ever got tbqh~ And sorely needed after a rough day at work. And hell, the Starfox fandom waited 10+ years and it was thought that Nier was a dead fandom and they both got new stuff. TWEWY's time will come. I BELIEVE.

I was getting pretty excited but ... I notice we didn't get a date. Not even a year. It just has to be before a PS5 is made and they won't even be liars.
Expect it in, say, 4 years I reckon. :(

(And I agree, the crossdressing scene is possibly the thing I want to see the very most in HD!}

Oh for sure. A lot of people are speculating a 2017 release date to coincide with the 20th anniversary, that sounds the most plausible but I wouldn't be surprised if they even overshoot that. Definitely not 2016 in any case... although one would hope they've learned not to announce titles too prematurely after FFXV and KH3.

It's pass 2 am. here but I still couldn't sleep because of the news! Not only crossdress scene in HD but yeah, I really wanna see Cloud almost made out with Don and He got skinny dip with all the beefy hunks in honeybee, must be hilarious. And do not forget about shirtless Sephoroth in HD. I AM GOING TO HEAVEN!!!

I literally screamed. I can't even.

And my thought immediately went to the cross-dressing scene as well.
I'm worried about a few things (they had better leave it turn-based because that's part of what made it so GOOD) but overall, I'm sure it's going to be hilarious and amazing and now that I know it's coming, I will wait out the Apocalypse if that's what it takes.

I have fairly low expectations on a lot of fronts but just going to revel in enjoying the graphics I think. If they mess up we'll always have the original.

(Although it definitely does feel like the apocalypse as it stands.)

I wish I could have low expectations but I want to believe and trust in Squeenix and Nomura so much. I hope I don't regret it...
But you're right--we will always have the original and there is nothing in the world that can change our love of it!
