I've only met you a couple of times, but you left a good impression on me. You're one of those considered, thoughtful people who likes to get at the marrow of life.

You know what? The fact you feel pain is one of the things that makes you better than many other people. Acknowledging and understanding what hurts you shows a maturity of spirit - accepting the bad with the good.

I am proud to have you, even so sporadically, in my life.

Thanks for the kind words, D. I'd love to see you both again sometime. It's been way too long since we had dinner together!

"This too shall pass." And although it sucks right now, you'll get through it for the better as you have before.

Let's do lunch sometime this week...I miss you!!!

Wow. I didn't mean for this to sound like such a downer. I really did have a fantastic weekend. The stand-up sucked last week but I am over it, girlfriend!! ;)

Definitely, lunch. I'll email you about it. Probably Wed or Friday?

Oh good! :)

Yes, lunch! I'm leaning toward Fri. The weather will be better for taking Ava out.

This is a great post! I'm glad you're doing so well, and I need to come see your place very soon!

Perhaps olive cheese party loaf should be involved. And sangria! ;-)

This is just a lovely post. I especially like this phrase: my somewhat-broken but swiftly-healing heart.
