uhhhhh i am shocked right now bc of what happened yesterday. i mean i knew that roe vs wade would get challenged due to how all branches of the government are becoming drastically more conservative but i never thought this would happen. so now south dakota, thanks to their governor mike rounds, has signed a law making any type of abortion illegal,

I heard about that too. I am extremely worried about the precedent this sets for other states to outlaw abortion. I really am starting to feel like our country is not only not progressing socially, but possibly even regressing. Reproductive rights for women are found in almost all developed, industrialized nations, but our President is a buffoon and has no idea about sound social policy. He actually has denied funding to international non-profit womens health groups that are working in third world countries for the sole reason that they provide abortion as an option for unplanned pregnancies. He has failed to see the fact that these groups also provide nutritional help, contraception, simple medical check-ups, and prenatal healthcare. By doing so, he has not only begun trying to limit reproductive rights for women in our country but also in countries throughout the world.
