Chapter 19

Jack’s voice reverberated clearly through the door, a ghost of the richer voice of his father; he was orating, making a show of telling a story as though even the walls were listening. Typical; Jack was ever the silver-tongued prince of the stage whenever a woman was involved. More than likely, unsuspecting, ever gullible Nell Maloney had fallen to ( Read more... )

Verbal misunderstandings make EVERYTHING fun, including reading stories. *G*

Agreed! Verbal misunderstandings and misinterpreted motivations is what drives much of the story in Pirates and was what I found to be most enjoyable about the films.

Glad you found it to be fun! Thanks for reading :)

For the past few chapters I've meant to comment but never got around to it but now I'm here to shower you with praise!

You keep Jack and Elizabeth so in character it's unbelievable! I mean, their verbal sparring changing to unmasked concern in a simple second is so...them (if there was any other way to put it haha) My favorite part would have had to have been when Jack refused to let her leave the room and they were in such close proximity, screaming in eachother's (well more or less smirking and screaming) faces. So expect a picture there ;) but I also loved the gentle moment when they were on the floor so who knows, you may get two from me!

I can't wait to read on and see how their relationship develops (if it does, that is *crosses fingers*) Fantastic work!

Yes! More art work!!! I'm super excited to hear that--I can imagine what you'll be able to capture in the scene and I can't wait to see it come to life!

Their relationship will develop in one direction or it will go in the other; they're at a huge precipice and the relationship that they had in the initial trilogy cannot endure in the Post-AWE world...that's all I can say for now... :)

Thanks for writing in and can't wait to see your artwork!

Cheers!

I only hope I can bring satisfaction! The first scene I said I would sketch up is just bubbling with a range of emotion so I can't wait to get started.

Ah, so it's a kinda do-or-die type thing? Verrry interesting and yet keeping me on the edge of my seat (i'm nearly falling off!haha)

Can't wait to read on :)

Hi Gea!

Thanks so much! I am totally looking forward to your upcoming artwork! I did two sketches myself (Jack and Liz, ten years after AWE), but I fear they'll never be able to match your great talent!

I can't wait to see what you'll come up with, next!
