Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks are coming to Tucson! On January 9th I will be sneaking into Plush to drink Coronas and watch Stephen Malkmus (and Janet Weiss from Sleater-Kinney) tear it up. I'm not sure if they're going to Phoenix, but if they are I'll probably be there, too ( Read more... )

The internet is a strange place. Here I am in Tucson -- well, almost -- noodling about in LJ and checking my Gmail when my "Stephen Malkmus" alert brings me to your entry. I'm so, so, so excited!!! Sometimes I forget to check the Plush website, so getting the news early is especially welcome.

I wish I could have seen The Rapture. But it was impossible with my work and domestic obligations.
