Never mind honey - I have an automatic if you come over here to visit, and that makes it all so much easier LOL! (it's how I cope driving in France on MY version of the wrong side of the road!). Going left and right is so hard with this though... grrrrrr!

back round 20 years ago, i spent a year in England, and drove on several occasions. most memorable was of course driving through London round 4pm. when i returned to the states, people commented how i seemed to have grown up over there. i explained that aging and growing up were different, and that most of the aging happened in one 45-min period. ;)

Mmm yes, I remember Marble Arch going into Park Lane being absolutely awful to drive (before they put traffic lights on it)... had that ageing effect for sure! I got my first car when living in London and my younger brother sat beside me, determined to make me at ease... so the sadistic little swine took me through all the toughest places to drive in London in a single afternoon! LOL

Mind you, I never panicked the same way again and people tell me I'm a very safe driver these days. So I guess I owe him thanks LOLOLOL
