There are those who find it important.
I'm not one of them.

Maybe one time my father was an honorable person.
But he isn't worth honoring, or remembering...

I don't know about honorable or not. But just being a father doesn't seem like much of a reason to celebrate someone.

To honor the people who brought us into the world, of course...
Not that our father is especially deserving of that.

Like bringing someone into the world makes a person worth honoring.

Well, look on the bright side. If Dante and Hohenheim had never met, you wouldn't exist.

I wouldn't be the only thing that didn't exist. Maybe the bitch would have still gone that far, but I doubt that guy would have.

Glad to see you're not gooey about this one.
If they're going to celebrate, it should at least be worthwhile things.

What the hell am I going to be gooey about on? Stupid bastard left...
I don't even see why they should be celebrating here, of all places. Ugh.

That's just what that guy does.
I guess they're bored. No other reason to do something as idiotic as celebrate a holiday for people who aren't even here.

First off, it's stupid to celebrate someone just because they became a parent. Like that makes them anything. Second, who actually has a parent here to celebrate in the first place? What's the point either way?

I suppose it depends on the parent-child relationship. I loved my parents...
No one, it seems, but its nice to think about them.

Then it's extra stupid. You don't need a holiday if you love them.
Tch. For some people.

Why shouldn't they?

Why should they? They're celebrating people who don't deserve, and even more stupidly aren't even here.

But having a father is nice! I can't remember my daddy, but if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here, and I wouldn't have met Ash!
