I've been working hard on this one and I'm so proud I got it finished in time to post on VVKiti's birthday, so I thought I'd share it with you guys, since you've been the ones to hear me worrry over it!

Please don't mind the obsessive quoting of "LOVELESS"... Genesis tells the story, and it seemed appropriate...

I simply adore Lazard, and I love that you paired him with Genesis here. Also, the little bit at the end from Tseng, watching the pair looking lovingly at each other, was wonderful.

Some of this was how she "commissioned" the piece, really. The pairing was, but she and I agree on how well the pairing fits together...

This is the first time I ever wrote Lazard, and I have to say, I like how he turned out in this! Personally, I think I'll write more of him if I have the opportunity.
Who else have you read Lazard paired with? I'm curious~

Who can resist adding a sneaky Turk spy for the Turk fan-girls? I can't!
(It's probably my favorite part, actually. I think I might sell off part of my soul to have more Tseng in my life :P )

I've read him paired with Sephiroth and Rufus. I'm in the middle of writing a co-writen series where Lazard ends up in a six way relationship with Rufus, Sephiroth, Vincent, Tseng and Yazoo. lolol Honestly, I just don't think he gets enough love, and he's a wonderful character to play with. After all, SquareEnix gave us so little about him, so as a writer you can really go wild with making up backstories for him, and sexual preferences, of course. lol Looking forward to reading more of him from you in the future if you decide to do him again.

And yes, totally can never have too much Tseng in anything!

(Would you believe I've honestly never read a fic with him? Everything I've read seems to ignore his existence!)
You may have to send me links to some of those. They sound exciting!

He really is so much fun, because literally, all we know about him is a few details on his personality, that he doesn't have a SOLDIER's combat abilities, and a little bit about his parentage. I'm pretty sure his page is the shortest FF VII page on the Final Fantasy Wiki!

...Wanna shoot me an idea? I don't have any plots cooking for him, but I totally want to work with him again!

Ah, someone after my own heart (both of which I'm certain Tseng stole :P )!
