I absolutely adore how you write Jirou and your AtoJi is the best I've ever read. This fic was so much fun to read and I loved the description of both Jirou and Atobe's outfits (revealing my inner fangirl ^_^), the imagery was gorgeous.
This fic is perfect as it is, I don't think it needs to be re-vamped at all and I am so glad that you posted it. Amazing AtoJi fic like this is so hard to find, unfortunately. I'll stop rambling now, but I'd like to wish you luck for your life after graduation ^_^
*laugh* ARE there many people who write AtoJi? I know even in my day, there was more AtoTez, and it's almost impossible to find AtoJi doujin (as opposed to, well, JiroAto... *winces*)
I, too, have an inner fangirl--one who would desperately love to be able to draw the Monsters In My Head. I have a feeling if I ever asked my boyfriend (who is definitely not as artistically challenged as I am) to draw one of the PoT boys for me, he'd wince and hide in the bathroom, or something.
Unfortunately, the amount of AtoJi fanfics are very limited, which is very sad considering they're my Hyotei OTP. Of the little that there is, I think all of them are one-shots, which makes me worship your Roommates Arc even more *lays offerings at your feet* ^_^
There's JiroAto doujinshi...scary thought. I can't imagine Atobe being submissive to anyone, considering his ego and all.
I think your descriptions are much better and more drool-inducing than any picture could be, though I'd love to see a picture of Jirou with cat ears ^_^
There's actually a LOT of JiroAto doujin. (Not to mention OshiAto, TezuAto, ToriAto... you think I jest, but apparently the Japanese fandom LOVES Atobe as an uke.)
You'd love to see a picture of Jirou with cat ears? *grin* Courtesy of akai_me_no_ouji...
Mari has the coolest best friend ever. *cheers Mari on to pass her ikkyuu test* I was waiting to see if there would be a club scene. (Also, Atobe not being able to dance ranks high in my "mental image" inventory.) I love how you make Mari so...good at things and yet she doesn't come off as a MarySue. I mean, she's intelligent and forthright and says and does things I'd dearly like to do sometimes, but she's human enough that I don't run screaming away.
...Also, again, your Jirou rocks. All your characters do, but I particularly love your version of Jirou.
*chuckle* I think Jirou falls into the category of 'demonic' as well as 'coolest,' perhaps. And you know, I no longer know what gave me the idea for the club scene--I think it probably had something to do with tormalyne begging for a karaoke scene...
*amused* I worried about the Mary-Sue-ness, especially in the beginning--it's easy for competence to go sliding down that slippery slope into perfection. I think for Mari to be a true Mary Sue (as opposed to a fake one?) all the boys (including the gay ones) would have to be in love with her... and she'd have to be drop-dead gorgeous. Which, well, she's not, and she knows it. Poor thing, I wouldn't want to be her, gifted as she might be. ^^;
*grin* Awww, Jirou makes himself lovable all on his own. ^_^
I think that has to be one of the most UST filled scene so far, especially because Mari had to pull them apart. But yes, the mental images this fic fills me with is just wonderful. For some reason I keep imaging Jirou in a sleeveless pink jacket (which would make it a vest, really,) instead of what it's supposed to be - a pink jacket.
Somehow, I was expecting Atobe not being able to rave? XD
*laugh!* A sleeveless pink vest would definitely work--less of an excuse for Atobe to strip him, but VERY cute (especially if it were one of those puffy fluffy snowbunny things...) But I am so glad that you enjoyed it--and mental imagery with you is such a GOOD thing. ^^ Thank you!

*grin* It's nice to know I'm not the only one who gets that impression...
How ARE you doing, hon? It seems like it's been a very, very long time...
I'm doing okay, just graduated, feeling a little nostalgic. But graduating obviously gave me more time to draw...
Here's a little quicky for you ^_^ Jirou! Sorry for any parts that might be inaccurate (or purposely left out like the velvet top, I was a little lazy *sheepish*), I tend to imagine things quite differently from what they're supposed to be. Liberties are taken for the lack of sleeves XD
*laugh!* Graduating! Congratulations, dear! (Funny how graduating gave me LESS time to write... mostly because I'm being dragged around California by bits of my family.)
I love the drawing--he looks so happy (and you drew in the earclip, too! For some reason, people do notice that earclip, but I love the little flower, and the way his hair is just a little long around his shoulders!) Thank you so much, honey!

I squeal with the cute
*snicker* And personally, I think that picture is worth a thousand words... or, well, *looks at Word* 13,163 words, anyhow... ^^
