Actually, not being PoT isn't a bad thing, I stepped out of the fandom, so honestly couldn't say how it is.

Even more honestly, I'm not in the FMP! fandom either, but I love how you've written this and their first kiss. Its something I've always loved about your writing is the hints of comedy but also that you really seem to understand the characters in ways that I can't say :P

Oh! *laugh* Then I'm even more flattered, then! *embarrassed* Goodness, such praise...

*blush* I don't think it's a matter of me understanding the characters... God only knows that most of what I write in any fandom couldn't possibly fly in canon! An ex of mine suggested that I tend to steal the characters, by hook or by crook, rather than borrowing them. Obviously, he didn't mean it as a compliment, but... well. *laugh*

I admit, I've a weakness for first kisses, first dates--first times in general. ^^ So it makes me really, really happy that you enjoyed this one. ^_^

*laugh* I totally agree--that's why I thought to start writing in the first place! (It's the A-type in me: "if I can't find the scenario I want, darn it, I'll make it happen!" But I'm so happy you enjoyed it, and would love to hear about any fanfic recs you might have. ^^

What have I been up to? Well, I've been to China, left PoT and went back to Gundam Wing fandom, changed my LJ name, revamped my GW website, oh and watched a TON of anime. Seriously. I'm an anime fanatic now. ^___^

It's great seeing you back. I hope you won't disappear again, at least not for good. I've missed you! *huggles*
