Title: Chiaroscuro Pairing: HiyoMari Series: Prince of Tennis Disclaimer: Mari tends to think she's her own, thank you very much, and no-one else is mine, so... Rating: mint <--yes, my dears, it is het, and I am sorry

Oh squee. I was so happy when I read on your normal LJ that you had finished the 1sentence thing for HiyoMari! These were all so cute!... except for the ones under "dark"; my heart broke a little reading those.
"#21 - Life: she’d been dreading the day when he’d finally come over and meet her father for weeks-and of course that would be the day when Atobe would make him stay overtime, leaving her father looking at her with that ‘He’s imaginary, isn’t he?’ kind of pity."
Hee! Thank you so much--it's weird and sad that the dark ones were actually the first ones I wrote... most of the rest came after! *laugh!*
Sadly, I wish I could claim credit for that particular idea--but I'm fairly sure it actually came from a conversation I had with typhoid_mariko a very, very long time ago. ^^;
*laugh* Mari, silly stubborn one that she is, is indeed back--actually, she'll probably have a couple of long stories coming out in the next few days, if I can get myself over that last mental hurdle. ^^ Thank you for enjoying these--I had a lovely time writing them!
*laugh* While I hardly deserve such praise--after all, it's far from being my idea!--you should definitely try it! It's a lot of fun, writing not a drabble, but a single sentence per prompt--though there were definitely times when I looked at my list, only to go "......this shouldn't be anywhere near as hard as it is..."
Aww, thank you! I've got a fondness for the 'blinding' section, too... such sap, of course, but I've been torturing poor Mari for so long. ^^;
This thing was a lot of fun to write--because, yeah, I got to toss out basically any bunny and every bunny that came to mind, without having to worry about things like, oh, exposition, and conclusion, and whatnot. <--is lazy sometimes. ^^ Plus you end up getting really, really creative with word interpretations by the end of it... *snicker*

*laugh* Actually, I remember writing #38, and going, "Too much? Too much. But what the heck, who cares?" ^_^

These are great. They fit so well into that whole 'verse, and you can just /see/ everyone's expressions.

I also loved the blinding section.
These were neat -- they were kind of all one story and kind of lots of different stories.
