After the swapping of the girls after work I decided that this warm sunny day should not be wasted.  Plus there was a going away party for 2 co-workers at 6:30, so if I could kill 4+ hrs I could drop by, w/o an extra 1:15 in the car (which I wouldn't have done, so I would have missed the party.  So we headed across town to the zoo, and everywhere

That IS a fun day. I’m glad you got some outdoor time. I was going to complain we don’t have an arboretum nearby but then I remembered I live right by two lakes with a path through the woods and I should really hush my biscuits.

Love the image of C copping a squat on a log and expecting you to bring the car… love even more the matter of fact “so we walked back to the car” that followed. Way to go, Sinwi!
