UCAS

To my English friends

Can anyone explain, in short, the deal with UCAS? (Preferably from the perspective of a non-UK student)?

Am I already too late to apply there?

No idea, I just live here, I have never had to study here. I could ask others?

I've only encountered UCAS from a home perspective; when I applied through it at school. Assuming you want to apply for admission in Sept. 09, you'll have no trouble applying now. I think. It was certainly around this time of year that I applied; maybe a couple of weeks earlier.

What courses have you in mind? For some, you may not need to go through UCAS (though given you're talking about it, I'm guessing that is not that case)

All the best,

paddy

My sister is applying to universities through UCAS at the moment -- I think in general the deadline is in January, though the earlier you apply, the better. Especially since you won't have any exam results to wait for so any offers you get should be unconditional ( ... )
