By the way - I really recommend David Harris' 'The Art of Calligraphy' as a must-have, in combination with Drogin's book. You can see the stroke overlays, a timeline of scripts, color examples, etc. in David Harris' book.

Drogin's book is good too, but I'm just suggesting that it doesn't have everything cool that the Harris book has. :)
