it's revision time

got revision notes yesterday from david. they seem...manageable! i think a lot of the hardcore work will probably be done in line edits. david is big into his line edits. so for now, i've just got to plug a bunch of holes and unfinished scenes, rewrite a key moment from the beginning, and make all the writing a bit snappier and more awesome.

I'm really not much of a writer, but I suggest (when I think back to what Stephen King says in On Writing) that you read as someone who's never read this before. That way you know where your readers will not get the message. If you've given yourself a break from thinking about the project, this will work out well.

ha, well i usualy hate the first draft with a firey passion by the end of it and end up rewriting the whole thing and then after that i just touch it up

but right now i'm stuck becuase of computer problems
