So much I could write about! .Best.Pennsic.Evar. and I am going to try to hold focus on Roman(ish) things in this post. Mostly. ;-)

Hanging out at drunk feast was cool. I dig reading about your Roman because I want to do at least one decent outfit.

Had a great time chatting! Meat-fest 2008 was good times, indeed. I'll keep an eye out for onion-and- pepper-free meat sprinkles. (( Perhaps a trip to Penzey's is in order? ))

Did you make it over to Raymonds Quiet Press? He had some Roman Chicken fibulae. I has them now, I loves them. Chicken!!

Didn't look too closely at RQP this year -- I *heart* Crafty Celts -- Master Vortigern has made some custom hair sticks and such for me over the years, and I realllly like his work. As in, I bought a silver twisted wire bangle at Ymir in Feb 2007 and haven't taken it off since then :o)

Oh, I loved wearing Roman this year. And the mamillare? Not only it worked wonderful, but later on I used it as a turban with a 15th Century gown.

Hey, how else can you walk around with your "bra" on your head and no one notices? LOL.

the mirror box guy is Tancred's tangled treasures i think.....
