Suzaku, my current beta fish, was dead when I woke up this morning. Part of me saw it coming. He had been acting like Lelouch did before he died. I dunno, I'm not nearly as torn up as I was when Lelouch died, but maybe it's because I didn't have him for nearly as long as Lelouch? I'll go bury him in the backyard later today and say some farewells. He was a pretty cool fish. :'(

I think I'm going to get goldfish when I move to Cali. Betas are just impossible for me to care for or something idk.

I remember the first time I heard of Bloc Party was shortly after Katrina. I had come back from my Dad's apartment because our house finally had power again after a week of nothing and hideous heat and humidity. My sister had been watching MTV and the British grammy's were on or something like that and the band was being interviewed. I saw the drummer, Matt Tong, and was like "Oooh he's cute" and started looking up their music lmao. YES I CAN BE SHALLOW LIKE THAT.

Needless to say I fell in love with their music and that following spring I got to see them in concert with aiko_kun and it was magical. This Modern Love has always been one of my favorite songs and I feel it describes me when I'm in a relationship, usually.
