Here's the deal:

The VGT Omnivore’s Hundred:

1. Venison (notably, my brother does amazing canned venison)
2. Nettle tea
3. Huevos rancheros
4. Steak tartare (long before mad cow)
5. Crocodile (tasted surprisingly like pork)
6. Black pudding (not nearly as exciting as it sounds. really.)
7. Cheese fondue
8. Carp - this is one of the few common fish I'm pretty sure I've not had
9. Borscht (yummy spicy borscht, mmm)
10. Baba ghanoush
11. Calamari (this is great if the squid is really fresh, and lightly cooked)
12. Pho (mmmmm....that sounds good *NOW*)
13. PB&J sandwich
14. Aloo gobi
15. Hot dog from a street cart
16. Epoisses (that would be Epoisses de Bourgogneon, the cheese)
17. Black truffle (stumbled on some fresh to experiment with; they're lovely)
18. Fruit wine made from something other than grapes (blueberry Cabernet, mmm)
19. Steamed pork buns (char siu bao, hum bao!yum)
20. Pistachio ice cream
21. Heirloom tomatoes (grew my own once, they rocked)
22. Fresh wild berries (my favorite food ever)
23. Foie gras (a bit rich for me...)
24. Rice and beans
25. Brawn, or head cheese (not by choice! tongue is ok, though)
26. Raw Scotch Bonnet pepper (blow head off now)
27. Dulce de leche
28. Oysters (best time, picked them from the sea and steamed with garlic butter..wow)
29. Baklava
30. Bagna cauda (I've had very similar hot oil "fondue" but not bagna cauda)
31. Wasabi peas
32. Clam chowder in a sourdough bowl
33. Salted lassi
34. Sauerkraut
35. Root beer float
36. Cognac with a fat cigar (yes cognac, no cigar please!)
37. Clotted cream tea
38. Vodka jelly/Jell-O

42. Whole insects (crickets, roasted... not bad)
43. Phaal (hot hot curry! I prefer vindaloo, I think...)

45. Malt whisky from a bottle worth £60/$120 or more (oh yes!)
46. Fugu - I think this is the one hard line NO in the list- well, this and the cigar
47. Chicken tikka masala
48. Eel (not bad on sushi)
49. Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut
50. Sea urchin (uni! bleh, didn't think much of it)
51. Prickly pear (tastes like... tequila...)
52. Umeboshi (interesting - there's an intense salty/sweet 'candy' they make with them)
53. Abalone - not that I know of; it might have shown up on a sashimi plate though

55. McDonald’s Big Mac Meal

57. Dirty gin martini (mmmmmm, love these!!)
58. Beer above 8% ABV (yes, I've had beer in the UK...)

63. Kaolin - this confuses me, Kaolin is something you put in pottery glaze... no?
64. Currywurst (these are wierd)

66. Frogs’ legs (breaded and fried - not bad)
67. Beignets, churros, elephant ears or funnel cake
68. Haggis (better than you'd think from the description, but a little bland)
69. Fried plantain
70. Chitterlings, or andouillette (cajun spiced, not bad)
71. Gazpacho
72. Caviar and blini (not at the same time, but yes to both)
73. Louche absinthe (the real thing, in Amsterdam)
74. Gjetost, or brunost (in Germany... it was a little bland for my taste)
75. Roadkill (our high school cafeteria served roadkill Elk and venison)
76. Baijiu - probably should try it sometime, but I usually go for the plum wine
77. Hostess Fruit Pie (blackberry was my favorite, too sweet for me now)

79. Lapsang souchong (yummy tea)
80. Bellini - haven't had one, but it sounds great!

93. Rose harissa - not sure if I haven't - but it sounds good, I'm gonna try making this
94. Catfish (a bit boney for me)

97. Lobster Thermidor (*very* rich... had to share)

100. Snake (barbecued, same time as the gator - "welcome to the south!")

wow, only 10 (maybe 11, the horse wasn't a certain thing...) I've not tried at least once.. and only 2 I'm not willing to try... not bad :-) It was amusing how many things I had to look up and said, "OH! that!" heh. Thanks, sidhefire, that was fun...
