that is good news about the flat(about time!)- but why are they only giving you a 1-bed flat, as you should be registered for a 2-bed? Or can they move you onto a 2-bed place later on, when Winter is a bit bigger? Anyway, I hope you will enjoy decorating it and putting your own special touches to it!

Good news on geting a flat at last. It's a shame it is only the 1 bedroom but hopefully now you're in there you'll stand a better chance of getting a 2 bedroomed place later on. I just hope it's a decent place without anything wrong with it that's going to make life a pain for you.
