Yup. I also make it a principle never to accept a job that involves one of these two questions:
1) "Do you want fries with that?" 2) "Paper or plastic?"
I think it's important to enjoy what you do, and to feel you're being adequately compensated for your labour.
Besides, temping isn't bad in the short term. It doesn't give you much job security, but you aren't really looking for that in a summer job, are you? Even if you are, it can sometimes lead to more permanent employment. For example, my cousin was temping at an ad agency to get work experience and they hired him a few months later, because they were impressed with his work.
