You change the date to a point in the distant future (i.e. 2008 to 2020) and click the 'Date Out Of Order' box to be able to post after it.

You don't want to hit Date Out Of Order right away in most cases, because when you do that it removes the entry from people's f-lists, but you will need to in order to post at a normal date after the fact.
