Politics

I have to say I'm pretty excited about politics right now, more so than I've ever been before, by far! In large part due to the selection of Palin as the Republican Vice-President nominee, or more like due to the response of the media to it. It's been great seeing all the double standards and obvious biases. Way to go digging your own grave ( Read more... )

I'm not sure if there really is a politically-left equivalent to Rush and Hannity on a lot of radio stations, but I've definitely heard it exists somewhere out there. The closest you'll get in most areas is NPR - which is definitely a different kind of format, but certainly has a lot of left leaning guests and hosts. "as long as they're intelligent and logical"
Agree. Nothing is more bugging then an illogical argument by an idiotic dope who has no idea what he's saying.
A good debate is good for the soul. :P

Lol. I remember last year when me, Sarah, and Andrew were driving home from Michigan and we listened to Rush talk on the subject of liberal radio. Pretty hilarious. One of the big liberals started a talk show or something (maybe it was Al Sharpton, or one of them silly Al's: Al Franken, Al Gore....you get it), and he was just pathetically horrible. Good times.
Liberals just don't get talk radio or they don't care, apparently. Talk show hosts are either conservative, neutral, or bad.

Agreed about the idiots' response to Palin.

I don't really get into talk radio of any subject, but Isaac listens to a lot of conservative talk shows.
