This place is magnificent. the camp is really nice. they treat us well. the lack of humidity makes the heat bearable and evan welcome. i am remembering all of the things i love about Las Vegas and Arizona by being here

I now have a job that allows me more time to keep up with my LJ friends and I will certainly correspond in a more timely manor.
Modern societies never truly revere their warriors. Even when attacked (Pearl Harbor, the U.S.S. Cole, the Twin Towers), the pacifists and appeasers attempt to mollify and ameliorate the situation through diplomacy....but that only gets you Chamberlain's "Peace in our time..." - a short-lived peace with dishonor.
As the bully on the playground sucker punches a kid, all around say, "One of these days, he's going to do that to the wrong person..." but never do anything about it. Well, this time, they did it to the wrong people. This is not just a fight against a tyrant or bully, this is an assault on our very way of life. You'd think that liberals, gays and women's rights people would be your strongest supporters because if Islamists take over this society, they'll be the first ones to suffer.
