I saw Phantom of the Opera at the Kennedy Center last night! From what I heard, other productions, like the Vegas one and the Broadway one, were better, but since I've never seen either of those I was very impressed. The music was great, the acting was great, the story was great

But since Christine chose Raul, then that leaves the Erik (the phantom) to all his fangirls...or that's how I see it anyway...

Indeed... unless, of course, true love is denied by outside forces (like in Romeo and Juliet...). After all, storytelling is rooted in conflict.
