so there are a bunch of sad people at my house right now because we all just got back from a memorial service for our friends grandpa and it was soooo sad. so i was thinking about what i want to happen when i die (which wont be for a VERRRRRRY long time by the way) i dont want all this "lets dress up and wear black cuz we are sad" nonsense. i want

i think funerals are so awful because they just make people so sad. i like your idea of people being casual about it.

yeah the memorial was so sad! i was tearing and i barely knew the man, i cant even imagine how his daughter and grandchildren felt the whole time, casual is definitely more for me.

exactly, i went to my cousin's funeral this summer. i hadnt seen him for five years, and had spoken to him maybe three times in my life. however, i was bawling, because the atmosphere was so sad.

yeah and thats really sad, i would rather have people celebrating my life then making their own life more depressing because of me, you know?

im sorry to hear about the funeral. and memorials are really sad, becuse theyre like a forced party for something that is hard to celebrate.
