So I've been reading the Bible. This is quite a task, because as books go, it's a really big one, and rather tough to read. As I recall many of these transgressions actually laid out punishments. To be sure, some were just 'ritualy unclean' and required ritual cleansing. But not all - I'm pretty sure this is in the same section as uncovering your mother's nakedness and that sort of stuff. I *think* there was a punishment given for those, but I'm not sure.

Yes, some did lay out punishments, and when the punishment was included in the law, the punishment was typically very harsh.

I did look over it again. It seems I was wrong, at least according to my Bible (New Internation). The part about laying with a man as one would lay with a woman is in a section that goes over various sexual taboos, which include such stuff as sleeping with an animal, sleeping with a woman on her period, sleeping with your son's wife, or all manner of incest or intra-familial relations. For all of these sexual offenses, the punishment was to be cut off from your people.

However, this punishment could be avoided by making a sin offering to the Lord. When the offering was made, the Lord considered your sin forgiven.
