Crossposting this from Facebook land, but who's all going to PAX East in Boston that I know? Because we should totally hang if so.

Alternately, any recommendations for excellent places to eat in Boston (As I've never been up that way before.) would be awesome too.

Unfortunately, no. However, I will be in Maine. :D

Take a ride up and say hey sometime! :P

(Yeah, I know you're gonna be busy and unable to, but hey, a guy can have wishful thinking, yes? :P)

The place where PAX East '11 is happening happens to be next door to where Arisia '11 was held, so Arisia's Restaurant Guide might be some help...

I must say, though, that although I know some great places to eat in Boston, I just didn't know many that I wanted to hike fifteen minutes to and fifteen minutes back in really cold weather, so I ended up relying very highly on packaged food from the 7-11 (which wasn't my first choice, believe me!)

If you can get in with a car expedition, however, or if the weather's better so that it doesn't suck to walk, then I can highly recommend New Golden Gate in Chinatown (easy to find, just two or so doors down from the big and visible Chinatown Gate; serves huge portions for very reasonable prices) and Al Capone's on Summer Street (pizza/calzones/subs, again serves huge portions at great prices.)

Gorram it! :O I can't go this year. Meeeeeeeeeeeeeh!

Now, you need to know that Boston is an old person's town. They close down early leaving you without places to eat in the evening. :(
