Somebody took a huge truck and took it back behind our house, out into that strip of land (bureau owned) between our house and the saguaro national park. They took this truck and they drove it all along my hiking paths and destroyed everything on those paths. Candy wrappers were thrown out the windows onto the crushed cactuses and fractured trees.

DUDE! I completely agree with this! Just a month ago, at the top of the mountain behind Machu Picchu, we were all hanging out, looking over the beautiful view and waiting for the clouds to clear. This group of German students came up to the top, started smoking and left a whole heap of cigarette butts, banana skins, cling wrap and plastic water bottles. It was ridiculous! I would have ranted at them...but they'd already gone...and I'd have been to chicken anyway (obviously).
