I wasn't going to post in Arama at first, because just like ONTD, there's going to be eye rolling wtfery, but then I thought, hey, they don't really have a lot of Maki stuff on there, so brave the bullet and post. And you know, for the most part, there hasn't been a giant amount of assholery in the comments, and most of the passive aggressive bitching has been of the usual flavor - she's overrated, she can't act, I'm only watching it for Matsuken/Tegoshi/Anton/...Emma Roberts (and to that fan, I can only say, wow, are you going to be disappointed) which is the predictable fan girl reaction to everything. I mean, I'm guilty of it too. I like to think that I'm at least witty about it, but haters are haters and they'll always be there. I mean, god forbid you don't POST ANYTHING in response to something you don't like. I don't post about actors I don't like and when I do, I try to be civil, because I know some friends of mine *do* like them. Honestly, outside of SP and a shortlist, I don't care for most of young Japan that fandom goes

oh, and also, I wouldn't worry too much about the movie

because the director is directing from a script written by the author, and the author also happens to be his significant other.

So there's kind of a quality control/artistic integrity lock in place there, I would think.
