The first five people to comment in this post get to request that I write a drabble (or draw a doodle) of any pairing/character of their choosing. In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability level.I'm trying to get back into writing. :) Oh, er--I'm gonna ask that you at least try to request ( Read more... )

It had to do with her strength.

Kohei had always admired how quietly strong Juria was, how unsurpassable in her ways and words. She wasn't meek, though she could pretend to be, but she wasn't someone who flaunted her strength either. That was part of what made it better. It was funny how Kohei liked her for her strength while Kaoru had been quick to notice her compassion--not a sappy, tearful, useless sympathy for the damaged souls of their class but a real and painful empathy that managed to take the betrayal and turn into a reason to protect. A reason to live.

Kohei still clenches his fist when he thinks about it. That day when he and Kaoru just knew--just felt it in their guts--that something was wrong, and they went bounding to Juria's house, with no plan and no real idea of what they were doing, only to find that the sickening feeling of dread was not unfounded, and their Juria was nearly broken down in the worst way possible ( ... )

Oh, this was perfect. I've missed them, and the tertiary mention of Kaoru was great too (Maki sure ends up in a lot of OT3s, doesn't she?)kanata and maki need to work together again, FOR SERIOUS.

(I loved them in Hinokio too)

half-dead or not, you manage to keep a lot of my fandom mojo going!

For instance, it was nice to return to Seito Shokun!--feels like I fangirl'd and fic'd an epoch ago.
