Once you get over the fact that it's Narimiya shoved back into high school (there's a good six years between him and Naka Riisa, which isn't too bad, but he's almost ten years older than Hongo Kanata... and all three of them are supposed to be classmates), it's actually pretty entertaining.
[light spoilers]
It kinda feels like Karekano with a Ranma 1/2-like parody, though only in shadows. There's nothing particularly fine about the way it's shot but I don't normally expect all that much from manga adaptations. It's mercifully straightforward, so I enjoyed the first episode enough to keep going. I'll admit a good part of it is particularly liking the cast. I never would have come up with the combination of Narimiya, Riisa, and Kanata, so this is what drama is for. :)
I wasn't particularly enamored by any of the characters. So far they're all fairly predictable, though certainly not bland. By the end of the episode, though, the interactions were starting to hit gold. The chemistry took a bit, but it got there. I'd say it's worth seeing Narimiya's facial expressions--yes, Riisa's character is annoying as hell but she's also entertaining. You will enjoy watching her harass him.
But I think my favourite lines had to be the part where he caught her welcoming herself into his room, familiarising herself with the wildlife:
"You're overfeeding my fish!"
"Sorry, but he looked like he was dying--"
"That's how he's supposed to look!"
I personally think the script needs more humour like this, but overall it has enough. I nearly died when the delinquent group bowed really~ politely~ at Daichi's sister. That's the sort of thing you would not see outside Japanese media right there. XD
As usual, I look forward to Kanata's character development. He's channeling a midway between his Kouhei from Seito Shokun and his guest role on Tantei Gakuen Q. At least so far.

Also, I don't think I need to say this, but Naka Riisa is awesome. This drama won't be the high point of her career or anything, and I don't even know how much recognition this sort of thing will give her, but I can tell you that she is awesome. She really makes it for me.
