Friday Five: Fixing Things

1. Are you good at fixing things?
Not really. Simple things are possible but more often than not I get a bit overwhelmed and just buy a new whatever.

2. What kinds of things can you fix?So I can do minor sewing. And I could probably fix simple things like a piece of jewelry. I have fixed a faucet and replaced one which was a big deal to me. Let's

The microwave issue, seems like you'd definitely want some insurance on your next one. Our microwave never really recovered from our move either😆

Well, the insurance on the microwave would have been up already. It was older than the insurance on it. But it is more that when PGE turns the power off and then back on it surges. People all over town were having surge damage. A bunch of people put in claims to them, as is their system but the denied everyone I know.

My nieces new microwave also didn't make it through. I don't think she had the insurance though.

Strangely, it was hard to find a replacement but we ended up finding the exact same microwave off of Amazon which was great because it is a really good microwave.
